VentureCare was based on the successful ancillary medical aesthetics practice developed by Rebecca Small, M.D., Medical Director for Monterey Bay Laser Aesthetics. In 2003, Dr. Small started providing medical aesthetic procedures in local spas in her community after discovering that most patients prefer the convenience and relaxed atmosphere of a spa over a medical office setting.
