  Overview
Our most popular treatment, Botox® smooths wrinkles and softens worry lines by relaxing the underlying facial muscles, to create a more youthful appearance. Most of us would like to look younger, but we do not have the time or the inclination to have cosmetic surgery. In recent years, Botox treatment has gained popularity as a procedure that offers dramatic improvements without surgery or a long recovery period.

This 10-minute procedure is perfect for:
• Forehead wrinkles
• Frown lines between the eyebrows
• “Crow's feet”

Botox is by no means a new treatment. It has been used worldwide since 1980 to treat misalignment of the eyes and eyelid spasms. Long approved for the treatment of certain medical conditions, it has recently been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for cosmetic purposes as well.

Botox is a purified protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botox treatment is approved by the FDA to be safe and effective. During treatment you receive only the smallest of doses Botox protein in specifically targeted muscles.

If you are tired of the way wrinkles make you feel and look, it may be time to consider Botox treatment. Our professional medical staff will personally assess your cosmetic needs and determine the right course of treatment for you.

What exactly is Botox?
It’s a natural purified protein which relaxes overactive facial muscles that cause frown lines and wrinkles.

Is it safe?
Botox has been safely used to treat a variety of conditions for more than ten years. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of frown lines in people aged 18 to 65.

What are the most common areas treated?
Frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet.

Where does the Botox go?
It remains in the treated muscle and gradually disappears without traveling throughout the body.

When will I see the effects? How long does it last?
Effects are noticeable in two to three days and last about four months, after which lines gradually reappear.

Will it radically change my appearance?
No. Expect a dramatic improvement in the appearance of your frown lines. Overall, you’ll look more relaxed and refreshed but not like“you’ve had work done.”

Will it make me lose expression?
No. The only expression you’ll lose is in the unintentional frown lines due to overactive muscles.

What you can expect with a Botox Treatment
A 10-minute procedure consisting of a few tiny injections. No anesthesia is required. Discomfort is minimal and brief - most patients compare the sensation to a bug bite.
