Kathy McHale is a communications specialist who helps clients define clear distinguishing messages and shape them most effectively to reach target audiences. She has over 25 years of experience creating corporate and marketing materials of all types.

Kathy exhibits a rare combination of talents, being skilled in both design and writing. As a designer, she excels at creating consistent, memorable visual identities for her clients. As a writer, she is distinguished by her unique ability to translate concepts into concise, benefits-oriented text.

Prior to starting her own company, Kathy worked for seven years at a high-tech advertising agency where she had multiple roles: graphic designer, senior copywriter and account executive.

Before moving to California, Kathy spent five years working at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, where she was the staff photographer and registrar. Her other work experience includes running a prison art program for a charitable foundation and working as a public relations consultant for a multi-racial suburb of Chicago.

Laura McHale Holland is an accomplished copywriter, creative author and journalist.

Laura is a highly skilled interviewer adept at pulling out information that positively highlights her subjects and makes management bios, press releases, corporate backgrounders, and brochures enjoyable to read. She is also experienced at writing newsletter copy, qualitative market research reports, and end-user interface documentation.

In addition to her work for McHale Creative, Laura is the Associate Editor for The Green Sheet, a trade publication for the bankcard processing industry, as well as for The Noe Valley Voice, a neighborhood newspaper in San Francisco. She also writes freelance articles for North Bay Biz and Today's Home Magazine.

Laura's memoir of her childhood years, Reversible Skirt, recently won first place in the RockWay Press International Writing Competition and will be published later this year.
